The Alliance For Full Acceptance (AFFA) announces its 1st annual film festival, REEL GRITS - S.C. LGBT Independent Film Festival. Honoring the underground style of SLAMDANCE (Sundance’s red-headed step child) this groundbreaking event will not only bring to the forefront the lives and issues of the LGBT community but educate the public on the diversity within our community as a whole. REEL GRITS will be an opportunity for filmmakers, enthusiasts, buffs and the general public to share their stories, become part of someone’s truths and foster understanding in an intimate setting where the audience is an integral part of the experience.
