Mental Health Resources

Coming out, living and working in a heterosexist and sometimes hostile environment can be difficult for many LGBT people. We often receive requests for therapists, social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists who approach their work with LGBT clients without any judgment or bias; in short, professionals who are "safe."

AFFA provides this list as a service to our community. The information posted here was provided by the mental health practitioners themselves at our request.

If you know of other counselors who should be included here, please forward their contact information to the AFFA office.
