Sapphic Stoplight Party
Join AFFA at Bar Polari for a fun, low-pressure evening designed to help sapphic community members make new friends, meet potential partners, and build community. Grab a color-coded bracelet to show whether you're looking for friendship (red), open to meeting people (yellow), or interested in romance (green), then enjoy an evening of conversation and connection.
Admission is free. This event is open to guests 21 and older. Come solo or bring friends. We can't wait to see you there!
End of Summer Splash
Celebrate the end of summer with AFFA at the beautiful Starlight Motor Inn for an afternoon of swimming, music, community, and family-friendly fun!
This year's End of Summer Splash is all about helping our community head into the new school year feeling connected and celebrated. Enjoy pool access, great music from DJ Trevor D, and a cash bar hosted by Starlight Motor Inn with refreshments available for purchase throughout the afternoon.
From 4:00 to 6:00 PM, The Sparkle Bar will be on site offering complimentary fairy hair tinsel so attendees can add a little back-to-school sparkle. We'll also be joined by We Are Family and the National Youth Advocate Program (NYAP), who will be sharing resources and support for LGBTQ+ youth, young people, and their families.
Whether you're bringing the whole family or meeting up with friends, come cool off, connect with community, and send summer out in style.

Join AFFA at DAYBREAK, Sightsee Coffee’s quarterly DJ day party, for a late-morning hangout filled with music, community, and caffeine. Whether you're gearing up for a full day or just looking for a laid-back way to celebrate, this is your moment to show up and show out.
Expect good tunes, great coffee, and a welcoming crowd as we kick off the season together.
We’ll also be hosting an exclusive raffle featuring prizes from Sightsee’s shop and brand-new AFFA merch, so come ready to enter and win.

Join AFFA for Coffee & Chronicles, a relaxed and engaging discussion exploring the history of LGBTQ+ people in South Carolina. This special gathering will be led by historian and author Harlan Greene, whose work has helped preserve and illuminate the stories that shape our community today.
Whether you’re a history buff or just curious to learn more, this is an opportunity to connect, reflect, and deepen your understanding of the LGBTQ+ experience right here at home.
